Bernie Dahl returned for a second attempt to seek the summit. At 21,700
ft. he was turned back by high winds, some 1100 ft. from the summit. In
1996 he reached 21,600 ft., so if he returns every 6 years and gains 100
more ft., he will summit the mountain when he is 135! |
